His hat is a spray paint cap with construction paper around the middle and a piece of cardboard for the rim. His head is a plastic container with pieces of plastic for cheeks. His collar is made from folded pieces of paper. I used a plastic bottle for his body, pieces of plastic for arms and pieces of cardboard for hands. As for his umbrella, the top half of the handle is made from a plastic tube and the bottom half is made from two batteries. The middle of the umbrella is made from a piece of plastic with paper wrapped around it, to thicken it. I used a plastic cap for the tip of the umbrella. His legs are made from pieces of plastic, his shoes are empty printer ink cartridges rounded off with pieces of plastic. His coat tails are made from cardboard. Pinocchio

When I first created this Found~Object sculpture, I constructed Pinocchio as sitting down, with his legs out in front. Over time, he began to fall apart and needed to be restored. Therefore, in the year 2008, I restored this sculpture and reconstructed his body into the standing position. Pinocchio's hat is made from a plastic bottle top, a plastic container and a piece of cardboard for the rim. I used construction paper for the feather as well as around the middle of the hat. His hair is made from a flattened paper towel roll. His head is made from a plastic milk jug with pieces of plastic for cheeks. I used an oxygen mask for his chin and mouth extension. His ears are made from cardboard and his nose is a razor handle. I used an aluminum can for his neck. His collar and bow tie are made from cardboard. His arms are spray paint cans with pieces of cardboard for hands. His body is a plastic bleach container. I used spray paint cans for his legs. His shoes are tin cans with pieces of plastic on top to round them off. His sleeves and pant legs are pieces of cardboard. Lady Tremaine/Cinderella's Step Mother

Cinderella's Stepmother's hair and head are made from a heart shaped box with a bleach bottle for her chin extension. Her ears, earings and nose are made from cardboard. I used a plastic bottle for her neck with a piece of cardboard for frills. Her shoulders are made from plastic floral containers. I used paper cups for her sleeves. Her arms, hands, pockets, as well as the golden key within her right pocket, along with her staff, are all made from cardboard. The top of her staff is a an upside down plastic cap. Her body is a metal radio. The design upon the front of her dress, is made from a plastic lid with a metal lid in the center. Her base is an upside down plastic trash can, wrapped in plastic sheet. Alice

I used a plastic milk jug for her head and cardboard for her hair. I cut out a piece of cardboard for the bow in her hair. Her ears and nose are made from cardboard, as well. I used a tin can for her neck and her body is a plastic container, attached to a glass vase. Her dress is made from newspaper. I used a piece of cardboard for her bow in back. Her legs are made from aluminum cans with plastic yogurt containers for her shoes. I used plastic caps for her shoulders and cardboard for her arms and hands. I painted all of her details, by hand.

The White Rabbit

The White Rabbit's ears are made from a plastic bottle, which I had split in half. His head is made from a tin can with pieces of plastic for his nose and cheeks. I used a glass bottle for his body, along with papertowel rolls for arms and pieces of cardboard for paws. His bow tie is made from a piece of cardboard. I used plastic bottle for his legs along with papertowel rolls for feet. I used cotton balls for his tail. His umbrella handle is made from a battery, a plastic marker cap and a marker. His pocket watch is made from a tin can lid with a plastic lid on top, attatched to another plastic bottle top, on top of that. I used a piece of plastic for the handle, along with many twist-ties, linked together for the chain. I drew and painted all of his details, by hand. ©  Art Is Life, Life Is Art 2006

 

Prince John

His head is made from a plastic container with a thick strip of cardboard for his crown. I used piano hammers for his ears. His cheeks, whiskers and nose are made from cardboard. I used a plastic bottle for his body with pieces of cardboard for his arms and legs. His paws are made from piano hammers and his sandled feet are made from plastic yogurt containers. I used strips of newspaper for his royal robe. I painted all of his details, by hand.

Peter Pan

His head is made from a plastic bottle. I combined two plastic containers together, for his hat. The feather within his hat is made from construction paper. I used a plastic straw for his nose. His neck is made from a plastic container. I used a plastic jar for his body. His dagger, arms, hands, legs, shoes and clothing are made from cardboard. Tinkerbell

I used a plastic cap for her head, with a small plastic container for the bun in her hair. Her body is made from two plastic yogurt containers with pieces of cardboard for breasts and a piece of plastic for her backside. The bottom of her dress as well as her wings, arms and legs are made from cardboard. Her hands and feet are made from pices of plastic. Her shoe details are made from cottonballs. I used a plastic straw for her magic wand. I drew and painted all of her details, by hand. © Art Is Life, Life Is Art 2006~2009

 

Captain Hook

His hat, as well as the feather within it, are made from cardboard. His head, as well as his chin are made from plastic bottles. I used pieces of cardboard for his nose and moustache. I used newspaper for his hair as well as aluminum cans for his arms and legs. His hand, as well as his frills, are mad from cardboard. I used a piece of construction for the strap around his body. His hook, is from a metal hanger. I used a plastic yogurt contauner for the hand's stup, which holds the hook in place. His sword is made from cardboard, separated by a plastic bottle, separating the sword blade from the handle. The top half of his body is a detergent container and the rest of his body is made from cardboard boxes. His dress coat is made from a piece of cardboard, which I wrapped around his waist. The bows on the sides of his legs are made from cardboard. I used cardboard for te front halves of his shoes with plastic yogurt containers for the heels.
