The Radiant Blue Boy: Within the walls of an English
castle, sits a very young, beautiful boy, of tender years, dressed in blue. He
sits with his knees up, arms wrapped around his legs with his head down. The
chilled stone of the castle walls, surrounding him, makes him shiver,
constantly. He shouts for someone to let him out, but no one can help him.
Those who can help him are much too far away and can not hear his
blood-curdling cries.
While he cries
in the night, he prays for his long awaited rescue. He awaits the day when he
will again see the light of the warm sun, as well as the soft of glow of the
glorious moon, shining through his bedroom window. He awaits the day, when he
can finally run, jump and play again. Running, jumping, playing games, with all
of his friends. Going through the forest, through the valley and into the lake,
playing for hours. Yet, there are so many questions, to wonder...How did he get
here? How long has he been trapped? Why is he here? What is his name? Where is
his family? Will he ever escape?...God only knows.
Being trapped
within this, tightly freezing space, his anger, sadness, urge and fear suddenly
begin to set in. He has not eaten, nor drank anything for, God knows how long.
Therefore, his hunger and thirst for freedom begin to set in, as well. He
stands as strong as he can and he shouts out for help, even louder than ever.
He screams, kicks and punches the solid, cold, stone wall. He shouts out and
demands for his freedom, in every way possible. He starts scratching at the
ten-foot-thick wall, trying to claw his way out.
He tries so very
desperately to break out of this frozen Hell. Over time, he hurts himself more
and more. His hands are in incredible pain. While he cries and screams for
help, he makes an incredibly desperate attempt to claw his way through the
solid stone wall. He snaps his nails and even breaks his small fingers. He now,
can not use his fingers nor hands to help himself escape.
Therefore, he
takes his next desperate attempt and starts biting on the freezing stone wall.
He breaks and chips his young, white teeth on the solid stone, trying so
incredibly desperately to bite his way out of his hellish prison.
Reality suddenly
sets in, he realizes, he truly is trapped...forever. He falls to his knees,
slowly sits back down, against the cold wall of stone. He puts his knees back
up, against his chest. He lays his hands in his lap, trying his very best to
nurture the excruciating pain of his tender hands, as best as he can. He puts
his head back down, against his legs.
He slowly closes
his beautiful eyes, tears begin to form within his sad, fearful eyes. The tears
come streaming down his soft, tender face. While he sits upon the cold floor,
he quietly prays. He softly whispers, into the cold darkness, his heartfelt
prayers, to God. He quietly prays, asking God to rescue him. He prays to be
freed from his prison of stone.
He begs so hard,
with all of his heart, for his freedom and asks God over and over again, for
help. While his many warm, fallen tears, begin to crystallize, upon the cold,
stone floor of the castle, he feels a sudden wave of relief, gently sweep over
him. He suddenly feels a very warm, gentle embrace, like the embrace of a soft,
warm blanket, wrapping gently, as well as protectively, around him. It is the
warm, gentle embrace of a true angel.
While a bright
halo of light, forms all around him, he sits, calm and warm, with no more pain
nor suffering as well as no more fear nor anger. He finally feels extremely
protected and safely at peace, as his young, innocent spirit, slowly lifts away
from his small body.
The angel,
gently takes his tender, child-size hand, which is no longer in pain and
carefully guides him towards a very bright tunnel of incredibly beautiful
sunlight. The angel, has taken him...home. Finally...this beautiful, innocent
little boy is now eternally free and reunited, with his dearly beloved family.
