The Workshop

His head is made from two plastic containers and his body is a plastic milk jug. I used pastic bottles for the sleeved sections of his tentacles, the extentions of the tentacles are made from cardboard. I painted all of the details, by hand. © Art Is Life, Life Is Art 2008

T.C. the Minnesota Twins Mascot Bear

His baseball cap is made from the top of a plastic bottle, with a piece of cardboard for the bill. His head, is made from a plastic bottle with the midsection cut-out and replaced with a plastic container, for his cheeks. I cut off the top of a plastic bottle, for his chin. For his nose, I used the top of a small plastic container, with a smaller, rolled-up piece of plastic for the extension. I used pieces of cardboard to expand the sides of his head. I used a plastic container for his body. His neck is the connection between the plastic bottle and other plastic container. His arms, ears, hands and tail are made from cardboard. His baseball bat is made from a piece of cardboard, as well, with a plastic cap for the very base. The baseball is a plastic cap, covered in cardboard and secured with packing-tape. His sleeves are made from strips of newspaper. I used plastic yogurt containers for his legs and rolled-up pieces of plastic for his feet. I painted all of the details, by hand. © Art Is Life, Life Is Art 2009
